Miller Place is home. A north-shore hamlet of mid-century and newer colonials between the Sound and Route 25A, and the middle of the circle everything else is measured from.

A quiet harbor community next door to base, mostly family housing built from the 1970s onward.

An older north-shore community of compact homes and seasonal cottages that were gradually winterized into year-round houses.

Dense post-war housing in the middle of the island, built fast in the 1950s and 60s and lived in hard ever since.
