Exterior House Washing

What is soft washing?
The green and gray that builds on north-facing siding is organic growth, and blasting it at full pressure removes it while also forcing water behind the siding and stripping the surface. Soft washing uses the cleaning solution to kill and release the growth and the water only to rinse, which is both gentler on the house and longer-lasting, because what caused the staining is dead rather than merely knocked off. Decks, patios, walkways and driveways each take a different approach depending on what they are made of.
Soft washing or pressure washing?
Soft washing uses low pressure with a biodegradable cleaning solution that kills mold, mildew, algae and moss rather than just blasting them off. It is less likely to damage siding and wood, does not leave marks on concrete, brick or stone, and the clean lasts four to six times longer than pressure washing alone.
